Who Are We?
Our Journey
Code + Culture was born out of a need for more representation and support for BIPOC engineers in research software development. Our founder, Cordero Core, envisioned a space where community members could share their experiences, learn from one another, and build a more inclusive tech landscape.
Our Values
At the heart of Code + Culture are the values of collaboration, diversity, inclusion, and empowerment. We believe that diverse perspectives drive innovation, and we’re here to ensure that everyone has a voice in shaping the future of technology.
Our Community
Our community is active and engaged, from hosting events and workshops to sharing job opportunities and mentorship. Whether through Slack conversations, podcast episodes (coming soon), or community meetups, we strive to create a space where BIPOC engineers can grow together.
